HSM Securio AF500 L4 Auto Feed Shredder is a high performance document shredder that is best suited for busy workplaces that have big workloads to handle and deal with sensitive documentation. It comes with the best components and boasts impressive specifications. This paper shredder features two simultaneously functioning feed units. The automatic feeder can hold a stack of up to 500 sheets while the manual unit can handle 13 sheets of paper at a time. These feeds have a 9.5” wide throat so every officially used paper size can pass through them with ease. Both of the units feed material to the well-equipped shredding unit. HSM AF500 L4 is installed with German-engineered hardened steel cutting rollers which shred a range of materials include plastic cards to indistinguishable 1/16” x 9/16” cross cut particles. This design makes this shredder compliant with P-5 security standards, which is ideal for medium security applications. Apart from these cutting rollers, the cutting unit also incorporates a continuous duty motor which works remarkably quietly to ensure a peaceful work environment. HSM AF500 L4 Auto Feed Shredder is integrated with numerous useful technologies for ease of use and better results. Its automatic feed unit has a Lock-and-Go function that removes the need of an operator constantly having to oversee the shredder until it finishes its job. Operators can simply plug in their USB to lock the feed unit so no one else can access it, and then concentrate on other tasks. The EcoSmart function is responsible for the amazingly low power consumption rates of this document shredder.
